EMMYLI OMOKOGZ:

It makes a lot of sense how croc city entertainment is doing better in the area of audio and music video production as some producers, editors, artistes, and other persons involved in the art, in croc city are skillfully and intelligently working on their creativity despite the sedate pace of entertainment in Kaduna State.

One other serious issue that needs to be tackled urgently is the disintegration between the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN) Kaduna State chapters’s so called leaders. Instead of doing the basic fundamentals of what the association is all about, contribute to the betterment of entertainment and development of artistes in croc city, it’s so unfortunate that that is not the case. They meet often arguing, saying everything, doing nothing, quarreling about who is the head and who is the tail. It seems like all they are concerned about is what gets into their pockets, the ill gotten financial gains.

I pray we find credible PMAN leaders who will love to serve people and do what is right because presently, PMAN has no use to the talented people of croc city.

The development and progress of croc city and its entertainment industry is very vital to XtraTime, that is why on Xprofile this week, is another talented artist called Emmanuel Eleojo Odawn a.k.a Emmily Omokogz, who is a Kaduna based R&B singer born on the 15th of December 1988, an indigene of Kogi State, Dekina local government area to be precise, he is an OND holder from Kaduna polytechnic. Emmyli Omokogz has been striving in the music scene for quite some time now, he has recorded many singles, and the song he is promoting presently is titled `Some Day’ whose video was shot recently here in croc city, though Emmyli hasn’t released any album yet but he is working on one, and he is seriously in need of a sponsor to help him promote his music to the highest level. Honestly, Emmyli Omokogz is endowed with talent; he is like a timed bomb waiting to explode. Stay Cool!

2 CLOSE DANCE CREW:

The city of Kaduna a.k.a crocodile city is so blessed with lots of creative and talented people from different parts of our great country, Nigeria.

The inhabitants of crock city engage themselves in creative activities such as craft making, music making, dancing, sports, fashion designing, hair styling and shoe making, just to mention a few. One of the challenges they face is that there is no medium for exposure so a lot of talent goes untapped.

Exposing hidden talents is what we have set out to do in this segment called X-profile. We start this edition with 2Close, a three man dance crew (Marvelous Etem a.k.a Marvelous, Mohamed Bello a.k.a Mow'D and Musa Idris a.k.a Mareo). They are a talented group dedicated to their art and are set to become masters of hip hop dance genre. They are a group you will certainly be hearing from. Keep tuned in!

BADMAN MISTARUFF RASTA:

There are lots of bad eggs in Croc city entertainment who hide under the umbrella of event organizers, without any knowledge of event management nor planning. These same miscreants are also the ones who exploit up and coming artistes. Don't we have laws on ground to tackle these unlawful acts? This a part where the Performing Musicians' employers' Association of Nigeria (PMAN) needs to show-up more in protecting the rights of the artistes but sadly PMAN hasn't and/or isn't capable of helping out. So Sad!

Our X-profile for this week is a young entrepreneur…Simon Okpe Inedu aka Mistah Ruff Rasta, was born on the 9th September 1990. Mistah Ruff Rasta hails from Ogbadigbo Local Govt., Benue State. Studied Audio Engineering in Ghana. He owns a recording Studio (Ultra sound audio and visual studio) in Barnawa Kaduna. His music genre is reggae/raga. Mistah Ruff Rasta is certainly a force to reckon with in the industry. He is currently shooting a video with Mr. Stanz. This young chap is set to shine and there's no stopping him.
